Wyoming started in a national militia called 3DM. The 3% Defense Militia. Due to conflicts in the larger scale Wyoming voted on leaving the Defense Militia. They became the Wyoming Guardians in early 2024 with 15 members. In November 2024 the Wyoming Guardians merged with the Yellowstone Militia of Montana to become the Yellowstone Militia of Wyoming. Their first chapter is in Gillette.
